Acknowledgments and Links

                              Acknowledgments

Happyshrink would like to acknowledge all of his wonderful friends and supporters of IRC's Dalnet network. Without their friendship, support, encouragement and contributions this web site would still be just an idea rattling around in Happy's head. He would also like to acknowledge 4 people in particular!

St. Theresa, who taught me the basics and got me motivated to get started! She has also contributes unselfishly to the design and formatting of the website. She continues to motivate me by being the head cheerleader and booster of the "Ask Happyshrink" web page.

JeWitch and her alter ego Edna who contribute to my webpage almost every day and who are waving the pom poms along with St. Theresa

Reverend Al, another tireless and loyal contributer who has uplifted the Ask Happyshrink web site both spiritually and humorously.

And last but not least.....Tanghigh, who asked Happyshrink his very first question, and always forgives Happy when he doesn't have all the right answers.

And even more last but not least.....WindNWillows who is Happy's soul mate and partner for life.

Some of Happy's friends' web pages

St. Theresa's web page. When St. Theresa is not encouraging me, she's designing  commercial web pages, tending her garden and raising her family. She's cute, intelligent creative and funny! Very funny! If they ever revive the "I LOVE LUCY SHOW" she's got my vote for the lead! To find out more about St. Theresa (higher than the moon) and even pick up a quick recipe for tonight's dinner, Click here

LadyHawke's fun page. Does this sound familiar? People write to her, she writes poetry, she tells jokes and humorous stories! She's sentimental. Damn! She's also MARRIED. :(  LadyHawke is a New York City kind of gal whose passion for life comes across loud and strong on her web page. If you want to learn more about LadyHawke and also subscribe to her joke du jour email Click here

Some of Happy's favorite web pages

New York Times on the Web  Even if you don't like the newspaper this "web" version is colorful, interesting, has great features. They include editorials, sports, forums and public opinion polls, puzzles and games; something for everyone! This site has an excellent "Classified Ads" section with a  job search engine that will shorten the time you would normally take looking through the paper and save your eyes from having to read microscopic newsprint.  If you actually like the New York Times, you'll flip over this page! Click here

The New Yorker on the Web The best magazine ever! Do I sound biased? I am. It was always great. Tina Brown made it even better and even though she's left, her legacy lives on. The best in depth stories; the best cartoons; the best fiction....so what more do you want? Click here

Pathfinder the TIME WARNER website. Of all the News and Entertainment sites I have visited, this one for me is the BEST! Many Time Warner Magazine Publications are featured including, People, Time, Life, Money, Fortune, Entertainment Weekly, and Sports Illustrated. There are also links to CNN Headlines, The Weather Channel, Netly News Network and much much more! Check out in particular, the People's Daily and the Time Daily magazines. Click here

Foodnetwork.com If you love food (...and if you don't, I CAN NOT relate to you!) you'll love the Cyber Kitchen, the website of Food Network. You can download dozen's of great recipe's, find out about great restaurants and even get some good tips about healthy eating however I must admit, the unhealthy stuff is not what makes this website a winner! Recipe's from the last 2 weeks of TV shows are available. Check out Emeril and Mario in particular, but there are great recipes to be had everywhere! Click here

CBS Sportsline My favorite sports website includes the first all sports radio site that is exclusively on the internet. This real audio site that operates from 9am to 1am Monday through Friday. You also have great statistics and other features. There is a subscription fee to access all the features, however the free stuff is more than abundant! Click here
